FAQ

How Stiuca App works

What is this site?

Stiuca App is a pike competition scoring platform. It helps organizers run events, manage participants, log catches, and keep a live leaderboard with automatic scoring.

Who can do what?

Admin users can create, edit, archive, and delete events, manage participants, and manage user accounts. Regular users can register accounts, register for events, and log catches only for their own participant profile.

How scoring works

  • 40-50 cm = 1 point
  • 50-60 cm = 2 points
  • 60-70 cm = 3 points
  • 70-80 cm = 4 points
  • 80-90 cm = 6 points
  • 90-100 cm = 7 points
  • >100 cm = 10 points

How do I register an account?

Open Sign in from the top-right menu, switch to Register, choose a username and password, and submit. After registration, you are signed in automatically.

How do I register for an event?

As a signed-in user, open an active event and click Register for event(or use the register button on event cards). Registration is auto-approved, and your participant profile is added to that event.

Event page elements

The event page is split into practical sections so you can manage and score quickly.

  • Event header: event status (active/archived), date range, location, and duration.
  • Event details (admin): edit name, location, start date, and end date for active events.
  • Participant management (admin): add participants from registered accounts, remove participants.
  • Standings: total tab plus per-day tabs, with points, catches, best length, and top-3 highlight.
  • Achievements: live awards for First Catch, Biggest Catch, and Smallest Catch.
  • Catches Per Day: multi-day stacked chart by scoring category.
  • Catch Log: day selector and participant cards for adding/removing catches with auto points.

What is on the profile page?

Your profile shows performance stats: events count, catches count, total points, best length, and average catch length. Admin can also open profile pages for other users.
